What is sizing? Sizing is a stiffening agent found in many different types and weaves of fabrics. Sometimes the fabric itself is treated and weighted with a resinous substance or other substances. Sometimes the stiffening is done with separate stiffening fabrics. Buckram is an example of a fabric used to give body to collars, facings, belts, etc. Be sure you check on the manufacturer's laundry instructions when buying a sized garment. |

Draperies are done at prices lower than you would imagine. Our water-repellent method is a special process that enables us to give this service to garments not usually able to be waterproofed, including parkas, sleeping bags, double knits, and suedes, and we use nothing but the finest chemicals in our cleaning process.
